ANSU STUDENTS RIOT

                             Anambra State University Students rioting to Government house.

Students got annoyed and started rioting to the government  house as regards yesternights robbery attack.
The angry mob could not be stopped by the police and the school anti-cult squad.

The students blamed the government for the cause of the robbery. From our interview with some students, the issue of lack of electricity was the bone of contention, and the insecurity in the campus gave it more flavour.

The students also complained that when they reached out to their phones to call the ever active school security, there was no network.

According to the students interviewed by GIST-ME-ANSU tv, things like this frequent in the community. Majority said lack of electricity made the environment prone to criminals; they complained that they hardly could see to know 'who is who'.

The students are calling on the government of Anambra State and our able governor Peter Obi to intervene.
